A place for the small things

The questions in the margins. The help you didn’t know how to ask for. The life happening around it all. There’s room for that here.

A quiet moment of rest, illustrated in soft rose and lavender watercolor.

Some days, the big things take up every inch of the room. Appointments. Decisions. A calendar that suddenly seems to belong to someone else.

And then there are the small things. Who will pick up the groceries? Where did you put that question? How do you tell a friend you would love some company, but don’t have the energy to host?

The small things still count. That’s why we made a place for them.

Welcome to The Little Things

This is the Little C journal: a space for practical ideas, everyday kindness, and the life happening around care. Think of it as a quiet corner with a chair pulled out for you.

We’ll talk about asking for help, finding words when yours feel out of reach, and making a little space in a very full day. Sometimes that will mean a useful list. Sometimes it will mean permission to put the list down.

You don’t need to be having a good day to be here.

Less homework. More breathing room.

A helpful article shouldn’t become another assignment. Read the whole thing, skip to the part you need, or use “Play the article” when listening feels easier.

You’ll find short reads, clear section headings, and little explanations for unfamiliar words. Try this one: . A dotted underline means there’s a plain-language definition waiting if you want it.

A little help finding your next step

Different days call for different kinds of support. If you’re wondering where to begin, Start Here walks through possible next steps. If you have a specific question about care or using Little C, the Learn center is a good place to look.

Here, we’ll make room for the everyday part. The text you haven’t answered. The offer you might accept. The small routine that makes a morning feel a bit more like yours.

There is no required pace. And no gold star for doing everything yourself.

Small is a perfectly good place to start

Maybe today’s little thing is writing down one question. Maybe it’s asking someone to sit beside you. Maybe it’s closing this tab and having a quiet moment.

Whatever it is, it doesn’t have to look impressive to matter.

We’re glad you found your way here.

A little thing, with love. — Little C
