Accessibility Statement

We are committed to making Little C accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that access to health information and support should not be limited by physical, cognitive, or technological barriers.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and continuously work to improve the accessibility of our digital experience for all users.

Little C aims to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. WCAG 2.1 Level AA covers a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible.

Conforming to these guidelines helps make content accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity, learning disabilities, and cognitive limitations.

While we strive for full conformance, there may be areas where we are still working to improve. We are committed to an ongoing process of identifying and addressing accessibility barriers.

Little C includes the following accessibility features:

• Text Sizing: Adjustable text size with three options (Normal, Large, Extra Large) available in Settings > Accessibility
• Reduce Motion: Option to minimize animations and transitions for users sensitive to motion, available in Settings > Accessibility
• Theme Options: Light, Dark, and System theme modes to accommodate visual preferences and reduce eye strain
• Semantic HTML: Proper use of HTML landmarks, headings, and ARIA attributes throughout the application
• Keyboard Navigation: Core functionality is accessible via keyboard for users who cannot use a mouse
• Screen Reader Support: Content is structured to work with assistive technologies including screen readers
• Color Contrast: Interface elements are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements
• Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
• Form Labels: All form inputs include associated labels for assistive technology
• Error Identification: Form validation errors are clearly identified and described

While we work to ensure accessibility across all of Little C, some areas may have limitations:

• Some third-party content embedded in the application may not fully conform to accessibility standards
• Certain interactive chart and data visualization components may have limited screen reader descriptions
• Real-time community messaging features may have limited accessibility in some assistive technology configurations
• Some PDF documents uploaded by users may not be fully accessible if the original documents were not created with accessibility in mind

We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome feedback on any accessibility barriers you encounter.
